18 Jan The truth is – We are all insecure
Yes even the most seemingly confident people we know. They have their insecurities too and like every human with insecurities they need reassurance that they are worthy just as they are in spite of them.
However, it is important to note that not everyone has the same struggle. Everyone’s insecurity is unique to him or her.
You could see a beautiful woman who attracts bountiful men, but her bank account might be lackluster. A prominent businessman might be reaching for success because he thinks it’s the only way he can get love. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
I’d like to encourage you knowing that we are all battling our insecurities, use this knowledge to be compassionate with yourself and the people around you.
That’s right! You are not alone.
Sometimes in my personal and professional relationships, when I don’t understand the behaviour of people around me, coming back to the realisation that we are all insecure can help.
I hope this tip helps to bring in your life more awareness in yourself and in your relationships of all kinds.
Before you leave this page, I’d like for you to write down on a blank piece of paper, 5 things that you love about yourself. And after you have written 5 things, I want you to write 5 more things that you love dearly about yourself. So I really want 10 things but 5 at a time makes it less intimidating I think. I don’t care what you write, it doesn’t have to be deep – simple can work as well. Like this:
- I love my polka dot sock collection
- I love my best friend
- I love the mole on the side of my neck
Really just 10 simple things you love about yourself and keep it close to you. So the next time you start to go down 6 feet under beating yourself up and all of your insecurities are in a never ending swirl around your head, open that piece of paper and remind yourself of the reasons why you are an awesome, unique being.
Blessings & white light…
